Marathon Competitor: Second Public Test of ARC Raiders Shooter to Start at the End of April

Embark Studios, the developers of the shooter The Finals, have announced the second public testing of their new project ARC Raiders, a PvPvE shooter with elements of survival and extraction. The test will take place from April 30 to May 4, 2025, and those interested can already apply for participation through the project page on Steam or its official website .
ARC Raiders, originally announced as a co-op shooter, has evolved into an extraction shooter where players will battle ARC robots and compete with other teams for resources in a post-apocalyptic world. The game takes place in the underground colony of Speranza, where players take on the role of raiders who venture to the surface to scavenge valuable materials, risking encounters with mechanized enemies and other players.
The first test took place in October 2024, and based on feedback, the game impressed with its atmosphere and visual style, although some people noted that the weapons still felt underpowered. Embark Studios promises to take into account the complaints and refine the gameplay, including balance and progression, for the next test.
